Louis XVI Style Chest of DrawersChest of drawers from France in the Louis XVI style. This Commode is made of mahogany that has been fully ebonized and finished with a lustrous museum quality French polish. There are three small dovetailed drawers above two large dovetailed drawers. It is finely detailed with cast brass trim and hardware throughout. The chest is supported by four tapered legs with brass capped feet. The original intact Carrara marble slab sits on top.
