Los conductores de cobre se trenzan en pares, separados por un divisor de tipo cinta. Los cuatro pares estn rodeados por una cinta Vari MaTriX y un forro retardante de flama. La cinta minimiza el dimetro del cable y suprime los efectos del alien crosstalk, reteniendo la inmunidad
